WTB: 1990-93 Cobra

Well......my bro is anyways. I told him the most reliable references to local cars for sale would be through this site.

Let me know if theres any that y'all would recommend!

I think he would prefer a stock car with no rust over a heavily modded car that has cancer issues.

I have no idea what hes looking to spend - Im guessing around the 10K mark...maybe 2, 3, 4K more if its a dandy!

Thanks

Re: WTB: 1990-93 Cobra

Is he looking for a 90-93 GT or a 93 Cobra? 93 was the only year of the Cobra and they are hard to come by. They called all GT's in Canada GT Cobra's for some stupid reason though, but they are just normal GT's.

Yep, I have argued with MANY people about this.... 93 is the only year and I Don't think they made any for Canada. Your best bet would be looking on Ebay or some mustangs sites in the states. If you just want the look cervini's has a 93 Cobra kit for the GT and LX hatchbacks.

Re: WTB: 1990-93 Cobra

LOL

Like myself, I dont think he has any idea that the cobras were only avail in 93. I think hes just looking for (and please pardon my lack of mustang knowledge here....haha) a mustang hatchback with full ground effects (just like your blue stang in your profile).

I think we both thought that there were GT cobras for all those years (I remember seeing them ahead of me on the road and seeing the fox bodys with the full gound skirts or whatever and thought they were all GT cobras).

So a GT should be fine. What is the diff between the 90-92 GTs and the 93 Cobra? Is it just some badging or is there a difference in the way they built up the car?

Thanks for the Mustang Ejumacashun

I am not 100% sure about suspension differences but the motor has GT40 heads and Intake that makes 235HP compared to the 205-215 Hp the 87-93 GT's had. The ground effects are slightly different and has a different spoiler and rims aswell. I sure there are other differences but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Cobra....

Re: WTB: 1990-93 Cobra

Thanks for the pics.....

I HIGHLY doubt that hes looking for a cobra........I dont even really remember ever seeing one here locally (dont ever remember those wheels) so Im guessing hes in for a GT.

If anyone knows of a CLEAN one for sale locally, let me know. Stock or modded.

Thanks

Re: WTB: 1990-93 Cobra

I know of one that has low K and runs great but needs body work and a paint job. Comes with a perfect spare shell aswell.

Phil Caul's turbo 89 is for sale, but I think it might be a little out of your price range. Awesome car though. He has it on kijiji I think.
