Useful Link for all.

I found this link today while I was looking for EGR delete info. I thought it would be a good link to make available to everyone as well as a place where I can remember where to look

Re: Useful Link for all.

I found a lot of info, the biggest thing is if you remove your EGR, your going to have to trick your computers via resistors that the EGR itself is closed.

I'm going to post another thread specific to this to see if anyone else has deleted their EGR.

From what I have read before removing mine there are no advantages other than appearance, which is why I did it.

Re: Useful Link for all.

EGR has no benefit in removal aside from aesthetics, but it will cost you ~10% in fuel mileage as the heating of the air charge does tend to help efficiency under part throttle.
