Re: F1 Texas November, anybody want to go?

Last year we travelled on Wednesday and came home on Tuesday, which left a full day on each side of "track days" (Friday through Sunday). We did stay in San Marcos and the rooms are a solid $200+ a...

If you are an F1 fan it might be one of the last times to hear an 18,000 rpm V8 in action. COTA is also a very cool and modern track. Murph and I and his friend Blaine went last year and had a...

Re: Ideal Alignment - Edmonton

Bert's Alignment in the west end is good. Used them for my truck after some suspension work. Best to ask them what it costs up front as they have a "lowered" rate and a standard rate. But they...

Re: EcoBoost Torture Test

F1 Montreal - feeler thread

Putting this out there as a "maybe I'm in" type of thread. We went last year and had a blast. Probably going again this year, there is some urgency in the booking as tickets and hotels both sell...

Re: Info on grinding reliefs for 347 crankshaft

The cranks should fit. I beam rods should fit. H beams might or might not, most of the "modern" kits do. But there is only 1 way to find out on a given setup. Mock it up, and measure and...

Re: Advice on a 351W Stroker Build

A 4150 throttle body would keep the height down relative to an elbow setup using a normal carb filter setup, plus they flow a ton more air than an elbow and a conventional TB. That is the route I...

Re: Any home theater fans out there?

Big HT fan, but I limit my budget. Dire need of a new TV tho, my 6 year old Sony LCD doesn't cut it next to the new sexy plasmas.

Running BEV 9242-S HD PVR, DVDO Edge processor (awesome, huge...

PS3 exploded view

So I've moved my PS3 into a cabinet to hide it. I open the door when I run it for movies or gaming, but I noticed the fan runs a lot more now, and DAMN is it annoying. I started reading up on a 19...

Re: Got the 408w out

Cool. Good luck on the rebuild, time for some CP pistons! Any idea on why the one piston broke? Tough to bust them with tune on a N/A setup....

Re: Got the 408w out
